Some leads by CD Projekt S.A., head company of GOG.com and CD Projekt Red, have recently surfaced online and it provides insights into what its upcoming game, "Cyberpunk 2077, can offer. This company is the same one behind "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," which of course was not only awesome but had received outstanding reviews and multiple awards from multiple sources.
Kill Screen reports that CD Projekt was requested funds to make something which it labels as "City Creation, which will reportedly be a complex technology that will make a huge living city playable in real time. The playability will be limited by some rules, automation, AI and will support innovative processes and tools for top-notch open world games. There has not been much information as to what this really means or how this will be different from dozens of open world games, but surely it will be an awesome game when it comes out.
Additional funding has also been requested by CD Projekt for Seamless multiplayer to be added to its game which will allow players to search for opponents, manage games and support different game modes. The leads point out that this feature will be very similar to the multiplayer features of Ubisoft's Watch Dogs games.
Mobile N Apps reported that this multiplayer playability is an entire new concept for CD Projekt Red since the first time that the studio will be venturing into this feature will be for "Cyberpunk 2077." Aside from this, the studio will have other similar projects with multiplayer functionalities which include a spin-off of "The Witcher" called "Gwent: The Witcher Card Game."
Other funding grants which the studio has applied for funding include one for "animation excellence" and another for "cinematic feel" which is not very surprising considering how "The Witcher" kept its players at the edge of their seats. Players are very excited for the multiplayer features that "Cyberpunk 2027" will have to offer, but it looks like they will have to be kept waiting for quite some time since it might be out in 2018. Developer CD Projekt Red has very big plans for this project and really hope that the figures of "Cyberpunk 2077" would surpass those of "The Witcher" series.
