Bethesda is getting all their ducks in a row for now that the first DLC episode, Dragonborn, is finally set to hit PlayStation 3 tomorrow. The company released a title update making some relatively minor adjustments to so that everything is all gravy.
The title update is downloaded automatically once Skyrim is launched, so if you want to save yourself from any interruptions while playing tomorrow, best go fire the game up right now.
Bethesda provided an official list of issues the update addresses, which can be seen below:
- General memory and stability improvements
- Fixed rare crash when using vampiric grip
- Fixed issue where Arnleif and Sons Trading Company could become permanently locked
- Fixed issue related to duplicate NPCs
- Fixed rare issue where exterior door would not open properly
Bethesda recently let PS3 players know when they can get their hands on all the DLC episodes, after months of waiting. Oddly, they'll be arriving on the console in a reverse order then they did on PC and Xbox 360, but that shouldn't matter much.
Dragonborn hits tomorrow, Hearthfire on Feb.19, and Dawnguard on Feb. 26. UK players get them the day after the US releases. And as earlier promised, each DLC will be 50 percent off during the first week of its release.
Dragonborn takes place on the island of Solstheim, which offers up plenty of new areas for players to explore, including new towns, dungeons, wilderness. Of course, new quests will be offered all so you can ready yourself before going up against your "deadliest adversary" yet, the first Dragonborn.
Here's a list of official features Bethesda published when they first announced the DLC:
* Explore Beyond Skyrim - Leave the province of Skyrim and travel to the coastal island of Solstheim.
* Encounter the Dark Elven settlers of Raven Rock (3rd picture below) and the native Skaal, as you unravel the mystery of a Dragonborn's return.
* Become the Ultimate Dragonborn - Harness the power of the Voice as you face off against the first Dragonborn.
* Wield new shouts and spells including Dragon Aspect - allowing you to summon the inner power of a dragon to deliver colossal blows and strengthen other shouts.
