iPad Pro was rumored to be undergoing a major overhaul as Apple reportedly announced that the Mac models will not be abandoned despite major competition on new product models from other companies. Apple's recent launch of iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 reportedly failed a lot of expectations also.
However, the giant tech company reportedly announced that more can be expected from the table flagship of the company as it is said to be a lot different. The iPad Air 3 is expected to launch in 2017 and is said to have the same A9 processor as was seen in the iPhone 6 as well as a 12MP camera, GameNGuide reported.
Leaked reports also claimed that the iPad Air 3 may also need an AMOLED that will support high resolution and will include 64GB internal storage. Additionally, the iPad Air 3 is also slated to be iOS 10 compatible and will boast a four-speaker audio system. KGI Securities Tech analyst Minch-chi Kuo noted that Apple will possibly roll out a 10.5-inch iPad Air 3.
The iPad Air 3 is also said to support the Apple Pencil. Rumor has it that the iPad Air 3 may be released in the first quarter of 2017. Apple has not announced an official release date yet.
Meanwhile, analysts believe that the tech company will roll out the iPad Pro 2 together with the iPad Mini 5 alternately the iPad Pro mini in March 2017. Apple is also reportedly launching three new iPads early next year with 12.9-in, 10.5-in and 9.7-in versions, Ming Chi-Kuo added.
iPad mini Pro which may also take on a new name, the iPad mini 5 is also rumored to feature a Retina display and 3GB of RAM as well as an Apple Pencil stylus. The iPad Pro 2 is also said to get a faster display with a better Apple Pencil. Come March 2017 the company may already announce the iPad gadgets they've been working on, Tech Times reported.
