"Marco Polo" Season 3 fans still await the official confirmation from Netflix if the show has been cancelled or not. The previous season has received positive feedbacks and reviews but the cast and crew still seemed to be clueless as to the fate of their show.
John Fusco, creator of the show, revealed that he and the entire cast and crew are all ready for "Marco Polo" Season 3 according to some reports. Reports even say that the show could be aired in another network should Netflix decide to cancel the show. Show runners are reported to be in talks with HBO's Richard Plepler, AMC's Josh Sapan, A+E's Nancy Dubuc and NBC Universal's Bonnie Hammer.
Benedict Wong will still be the Kublai Khan in "Marco Polo" Season 3, but spoiler news had it that he will be dead in the next season. A Templar warrior priest will be the next adversary of Kublai Khan who might be able to kill the latter according to some reports.
Fusco was also reported to have posted on Twitter that Claudia S. Kim will portray the role of Khutulun. This could be a hint that indeed the cast and crew of "Marco Polo" Season 3 are ready and the series is not cancelled. Fans could expect the show to be aired on middle of next year, should Netflix gives it a thumb up.
Merely looking at the performance of the previous season, fans might conclude that indeed there will be "Marco Polo" Season 3. According to Release Date, the show has 8.1 out of 10 score among 40,000 users. Rotten Tomatoes said it has a score of 4.6 out of 5 with 94 per cent approval among 550 viewers. The show is popular along with "House of Cards," "Narcos" and "Stranger Things."
