Rockstar Games has yet to reveal anything for “Grand Theft Auto 6” other than claim that they are in the early stages of development. Other rumors suggest that GTA 6 may even be canceled altogether.
Nothing official has been divulged by Rockstar thought a good time to get some updates will be during gaming-related events taking place in 2017.
As mentioned in a previous post, a sensible event would be E3 2017 though there are other events like GamesCom 2017 which could render a glimpse on the actual status of the popular open world action-adventure game.
Coming as an Xbox Scorpio exclusive?
Neurogadget singles out murmurs from the rumor mill as “Grand Theft Auto 6” possibly becoming an Xbox Scorpion exclusive. Being a powerful console, the potential features for GTA 6 could be easily achieved though this dish remains to be seen.
Among the popular features that “Grand Theft Auto 6” could come out with the focus on the new maps and something that may potentially integrate virtual reality. Like the game itself, these are not official until Rockstar (or even Sony) come out to at least hint at some of the features the game will carry.
The most sensible date to see “Grand Theft Auto 6” debut is 2018, given the time element. If game developers are indeed hard at work with the game, the allocated time right now should be more than enough for Rockstar to come up with something.
While the wait continues, all gamers can do for now is make do with “Grand Theft Auto 5”. The game has been holding the fort since 2013 with Rockstar issuing game updates to keep gamers occupied.
Such is considered a temporary reprieve with most still waiting on a new “Grand Theft Auto 6” game installment. Gamers are obviously growing impatient and hopefully, Rockstar will not push that to the limit.
