Great news for those who can't seem to get over the adventures of Joel and Ellie. "The Last Of Us 2" has been officially confirmed by the game developers. It has been a while since the fans are waiting for "The Last Of Us 2" confirmation and Naughty Dog finally made it official.
"The Last Of Us 2" Already In Development
Neil Druckmann, one of the creative directors and programmers of Naughty Dog revealed that "The Last Of Us 2" is already in the development stage. Fans shouldn't be so excited yet though, as Druckmann released a timetable for "The Last Of Us 2" and revealed that they are planning to release it by 2021. "The Last Of Us" was released in 2013.
"Uncharted 4" Vs. "The Last Of Us 2"
The targeted release date for "The Last Of Us 2" has disappointed some of the fans since it's about five years of waiting. Naughty Dog can't hurry up the production and development of "The Last Of Us 2" because it is currently working on "Uncharted 4" DLC.
Naughty Dog believes in quantity over quality so they are not very keen in producing two games at the same time. The game developers assured fans that once they are done with "Uncharted 4" DLC, they will go full throttle on "The Last Of Us 2" development.
The fans of TLOU are delighted that Naughty Dog has considered creating "The Last Of Us 2." In previous interviews, Neil Druckmann shared that they initially had no intention of creating a sequel for TLOU. The game was supposedly a one time shot, which took three years for them to create.
As of writing, there is no specific date for the release date of "The Last Of Us 2." Fans are happy for the confirmation, though. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "The Last Of Us 2" news and update!
