The long hiatus after the first half of "Suits" season 6 aired left many fans to formulate different theories based on its cliffhanger ending. One of the major questions in the minds of many is Jessica Specter's decision to join Robert Zane's firm. Could fans see any chance of Pearson Specter Litt merging with Robert Zane's firm?
The Litt & Zane Merger
Many fans are still anticipating the merger between Pearson Specter Litt with Robert Zane's firm in "Suits" season 6. According to showrunner Aaron Korsh, this possible merger will still be a key role when the series returns airing in the winter. "Is he going to keep this offer on the table, or is he not?" Korsh posed the questions in a recent interview. "And whether he keeps it on the table or doesn't, how are Louis [Rick Hoffman] and Harvey [Gabriel Macht] going to respond to that?" This will still be the focus of the season 6, TV Line reported.
Aaron Korsh also added, in a separate interview with Deadline, that the merger will still be an essential part of the story arc in the back six episodes of "Suits" season 6. To recall, Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) turned down the offer of Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce). Now that Jessica has exited the law firm, many fans are wondering how her former colleagues would feel if both companies merge.
Will Mike Accept Harvey's Job Proposal?
Meanwhile, "Suits" season 6 also left many fans with another question: Will Mike (Patrick Adams) finally accept the job offer? What awaits Mike, now that he's out of the prison? This aspect of "Suits" season 6 makes some fans excited for its winter premiere. If Mike accepts the position at Pearson Specter Litt, then fans may finally see Mike as an eligible lawyer in his truest form.
While fans badly want to see Mike as a lawyer, things can be difficult for him to achieve his dreams. "Suits" season 6, episode 11 will air on January 2017 on USA Network. Watch as Harvey offers Mike a job at Pearson Specter Litt in the video below!
