‘The Sims 4’ Latest News & Update: Will Maxis Have New ‘Spooky Stuff' For Gamers This October?

September is done and the focus for “The Sims 4” is whether EA and/or Maxis will actually have something special before the debut of its “City Living” expansion pack.

“The Sims 4: City Living” expansion pack is reportedly something made for teens and older though gamers will need to shell out $39.99 to get hold of the separate DLC. Versions for the PC and Mac will be made available by November.

With “The Sims 4: City Living” expansion pack a full month away, gamers are more interested in what EA and Maxis are planning this October. With the month of the spooks upon us, many have recalled that special “Supernatural” DLC that was last spotted on “The Sims 3”.

Will EA Spook Gamers This October?

As mentioned in a previous post, many are under the impression that a special DLC will be offered this October for “The Sims 4” gamers. Nothing has been confirmed so far though rolling out (even for just a limited time) could be dandy and welcome to players looking for other things to do in the life-simulation game.

In the same post, word of a possible Halloween DLC for “The Sims 4” gained some ground thanks to composer Ilan Esheri who tweeted “Spooky music for some scary new #sims4 packs”. A video showing that was previously up before EA issued a copyright strike to Sims Vip.

With those posts taken down, it remains to be seen if “The Sims 4” players do have something to look forward to. The game needs to cover lost ground following poor sales figures, something that has so far affected the potential game console version and possibly “The Sims 5” future.

Some would appreciate added content this October but a more realistic wait is the month after for “The Sims 4: City Living”. Unfortunately, that also means having to shell out some cash to get it.
