"Pokemon Go" players can showcase their favorite Pokemon soon. This was hinted by Niantic when it announced the release of an update for "Pokemon Go" generation 2 this fall.
According to the game developer, they are already on the final stage of finalizing the codes for the coming update for "Pokemon Go." However, it also revealed the new feature that will be highlighted in the update.
The "Pokemon Go" generation 2 update is going to feature the new Buddy Pokemon. According to reports, trainers may now select their Pokemon and become friends with it and can get rare in-game bonuses and rewards by walking together. The buddy Pokemon is also shown on the profile of the trainer and the players will be allowed to change their buddy Pokemon anytime.
There are rumors as well regarding the introduction of more unique Pokemon, aside from the new Buddy Pokemon, and is likely to have the legendary Pokemon on its next update. The game is also expected to come with at least 100 new Pokemon on the new update, which will include the evolved models of the base Pokemon.
Several reports for "Pokemon Go" also indicate that the current most popular Pokemon Eevee will get two evolution types - Umbreon and Espeon. Other rare Pokemon Chansee is also expected to evolve into Blissey. In addition, other Pokemon characters that are reportedly getting an evolved version will include Onix, Zubat, Horsea, Slowpoke, Oddish and a lot more.
With Niantic's implementation of bans on players who are cheating their way in the game, several accounts have already been blocked by the developers. Areas such as Disneyland are having issues too, according to Kotaku. Moreover, the game developer also began a campaign to block third-party apps such as the Pokemon tracking and GPS spoofers.
Furthermore, the recently released update featuring Pokemon Appraisal will allow the trainers to determine which Pokemon is the most efficient in battle based on defense and attack skills. Even presumptions of Niantec utilizing iCloud has surfaced, according to icloud platform.
Meantime, Niantic has not released any detail regarding the release of the next Pokemon Go update.
