‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Release Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Doctor Strange Confirmed To Appear? ‘Sherlock’ Actor Drops Hints! Plot & Cast Details Here

It's still a long wait for "Thor: Ragnarok" as the movie is slated to release next year. However, it seems that spoilers for the upcoming movie just keep popping up and the most popular of which is the appearance of a certain Marvel character - Doctor Strange.

Recently, an Easter egg for the Sorcerer Supreme has been spotted at the "Thor: Ragnarok" set. In the particular photo, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was seen holding a business card as if he were looking for someone using the address on the card. Fans who were curious enough to zoom in on the image found out that the address indicated on the card was 177A Bleecker Street. True Marvel fanatics will easily recognize that the address belongs to no other than Stephen Strange.

Could Thor be looking for the brilliant sorcerer and seek his aid in the upcoming movie? "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi had something to say and according to him, he doesn't know and he's not sure if it meant something. "Ohhh I don't know," he said in an interview with Digital Spy. "I am not sure if... I don't know actually. I can't comment on it. It may have just been something for the fans." He also added that the photo could be a tease for fans or for those who will actually want to zoom in on the image.

Following Waititi's statement, "Doctor Strange" actor Benedict Cumberbatch may have just dropped a hint that his character will indeed be part of "Thor: Ragnarok." Doing an interview with Loki's Tom Hiddleston, Cumberbatch was thrown the question of how it feels for him to join the MCU. The 40-year-old English actor described his experience as "phenomenal" but what was highly noteworthy was his statement that seemingly hinted he will make an appearance in the 2017 movie. "I can't wait to see how it expands the universe. I'm also part of your crew! It's an amazing cast of actors. And it's the most fun hard work you'll ever do, I think, as an actor," Cumberbatch said.

It's unclear if the actor was referring to "Thor:Ragnarok" or being in the MCU in general, but if it's the latter, it should be exciting. Fans will just have to wait for the confirmation or wait for the movie to premiere in October 2017. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more updates.
