According to Otaku USA Magazine, the announcement was made during a September 25 Fall Festival Event in Japan. The event featured appearances by cast members of "One Punch Man" Season 2. The cast members who were at the event are Aoi Yuki, Saori Hayami, Kaito Ishiwa, Yuki Kaji, and Makoto Furukawa. Also present were theme song performers JAM Project and Hiroko Moriguchi.
