It looks like Matt and Ross Duffer are taking their sweet time before launching straight into working on the second season of "Stranger Things" Season 2. The show creators seem to be in no rush to begin work on the Netflix series although the episode list has already been released. However, it looks like one of the show's major stars is officially available to start shooting. Will "Stranger Things" Season 2 begin production now that Finn Wolfhard has finished working on the new adaptation of Stephen King's "IT"?
Andy Muschietti Announces 'IT' Production Wrap! Will Finn Wolfhard Start Shooting 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Immediately?
The director of the "IT" remake has just confirmed that production has already wrapped for its main stars. Andy Muschietti shared an awesome photo on Instagram featuring himself with his young cast. The director stated that he would miss the Losers Club, which happens to include Finn Wolfhard. So does this mean that the young actor now has time to start working on "Stranger Things" Season 2?
GamenGuide has previously reported on the possibility that Finn Wolfhard and his costar Noah Schnapp might not return in the second season of "Stranger Things". However, it is possible that the young actors were simply busy on other projects and will clear up their schedule soon. Now that "IT" has finally wrapped, Wolfhard should have enough time to start work on "Stranger Things" Season 2.
So When Exactly Will 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Begin Production?
There is no word yet when the series will be filmed, but there are speculations that the new season will be shot before the year ends. Fans believe that production will begin as soon as Finn Wolfhard is available. Hopefully, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will be filmed soon to make sure the series airs on Netflix by early 2017.
