The fifth season of "Arrow" has officially shot its landmark 100th episode and it looks like it will mark the return of several lost characters from the series. Stephen Amell has shared several photos of the shoot, including an awesome picture with Caity Lotz. But one image has caused fans to speculate that one of the show's most dangerous villains will be back to terrorize Starling City. So is Manu Bennett officially coming back as Slade Wilson in "Arrow" Season 5 or is this a new version of Deathstroke?
Stephen Amell Teases Deathstroke Return In "Arrow" Season 5
Fans already know that Oliver Queen has locked Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson away in a cell in Lian Yu. However, Stephen Amell has just shared a photo in Facebook that reveals Deathstroke is out and about and hanging around in a park. The image shows Amell casually sitting on a park bench beside Deathstroke, who happens to have his katana on his lap. The "Arrow" Season 5 star also captioned the picture "9/26/16" and added it to his album "The 100th Episode".
Naturally, the picture was met with some skepticism. One fan commented that it would be impossible for Deathstroke to be in "Arrow" Season 5 because the character will be the main villain in the Batman solo film. However, Stephen Amell quickly confirmed that the image is definitely for the new season. "This photo is from today," Amell wrote, verifying that the character will be a part of the 100th episode. But is it Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson or somebody else?
Is That Deathstroke Actually Manu Bennett's Slade Wilson Or Jamie Andrew Cutler's Grant Wilson?
Remember in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 1 when Slade's son Grant Wilson was introduced as the new Deathstroke? There are speculations that Deathstroke sitting beside Stephen Amell is actually Grant instead of Slade Wilson. However, that would mean that the 100th episode of "Arrow" Season 5 will take place in the future. Hopefully, this confirms that Manu Bennett will reprise his villainous role when the series airs on The CW on October 5.
