The alien-invasion, turned strategy game is bringing enough content for console players, in its first appearance on the platform. According to Gamespot, "XCOM 2" is worth $25 and it includes the Anarchy's Children, Alien Hunters and Shen's Last Gift.
Anarchy's Children allow players to customize the soldiers in the game. Alien Hunters on the other hand will deliver and introduce the Ruler Aliens and Shen's Last Gift will journey players alongside Chief Engineer Lily Shen to discover her late father's secret project.
PC players who were not able to enjoy "XCOM 2" for some reasons, will finally see how it fares in the console platform. Reviews about the game said, it is more strategic than its previous version. The first XCOM 2 allowed enough time for players to recruit and build a team that will fight against aliens. "XCOM 2" on the console leads to the strategies needed in order to win missions in the game.
"XCOM 2" was originally scheduled for release earlier this month; September 6 to be exact. Until Karl Slatoff of Take-Two bailed and delayed the release in order to fully prepare and develop the game for the console.
The game received 9/10 in Gamespot's review, despite the technical issues on PC that obviously migrated to the console. These issues include character freeze, soldiers taking longer to follow commands and cutscenes that literally drops frame rates. But aside from that, Gamespot reveals, "XCOM 2" remains a superb, strategic game.
