To achieve her current weight, the 35-year-old mother-of-two credits her impressive weight loss to Atkins 40 meal plan, as revealed by her nutritionist. Kim Kardashian weight loss was made possible by Colette Hemowitz, a famous celebrity nutritionist and Atkins Vice President of Nutrition and Education.
The Atkins 40 meal plan is specifically made to help out moms who are still breastfeeding. Since the baby is sharing the nutrients of the mother, the goal of the Atkins 40 meal plan is to give enough calories for both mom and the baby. This is in addition to helping the mother lose weight at the same time. It was the perfect choice for Kim Kardashian weight loss after giving birth to her second child. Colette Heimowitz shared that Kim Kardashian weight loss is based on this strict meal plan.
“Kim would start with a 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/4 cup of strawberries and 1/4 cup of pecans for breakfast. Snacks focused on fruits or veggies, such as a 1/2 cup of red peppers and five cherry tomatoes with two tablespoons of dressing,” Heimowitz explained.
Then for lunch, Mrs. West will have a salad and salmon while another snack consisted of half a peach and half a cup of cottage cheese. Kim Kardashian's dinner will consist of four to six ounces grilled chicken, six stalks of asparagus, one medium tomato and two ounces of fresh mozzarella with two basil leaves. Olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette will then be added for extra flavor. It seems that the Atkins 40 meal plan is definitely a huge help for Kim Kardashian weight loss. E!
