Battlefield 3 DLC, End Game, Bringing Two "New" Game Modes

So, we know a few things about the last DLC for Battlefield 3, End Game; the dirt bikes, the new maps, vehicles, et cetera and so on. But Premium members found out today something special today about the next DLC.

A fan was quick to inform the massest via a post on NeoGAF, that new game modes are returning to the Battlefield franchise: Air Superiority, and Capture the Flag.

As it was described from Battlelog, "Coordinate lightning fast attacks and defenses in the return of the classic Capture the Flag game mode, or engage in massive dog fights in Air Superiority. In the skies, the new dropship introduces the ability to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports."

Capture the Flag has been a long standing game mode from many FPS, and should remain a relatively unchanged experience for Battlefield 3 fans. But Air Superiority will likely be the most interesting game mode for the DLC, especially with the new AA vehicles. First seen in 2009's Battlefield 1943, the game mode hasn't been seen since. It was more or less a territory capture mode, just taken to the skies. One player wins once he or she has more planes in the air than the other.

Besides the new game modes, End Game offers four new maps, and three brand spanking new vehicles. No weapons though...

DICE has the pack slated for a March release, but hasn't given a specific date just yet, but Premium members get early access. End Game will release for Battlefield 3 on all available platforms, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
