BioWare and LucasArts have announced that all players who pre-order Star Wars: The Old Republic - Rise of the Hutt Cartel will receive an exclusive in-game title and two new in-game items when the digital expansion releases.
Rise of the Hutt Cartel will be set on the fictional planet of Makeb, a dual-faction world where players will battles against the infamous and merciless Hutt Cartel. The Hutts are a species of large gastropods, which controlled a section of space called Hutt Space. The species is usually stereotyped as crime lords.
"We know our fans want to keep experiencing the classic Star Wars storylines they love, and that's what we're delivering with the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion," Bioware Austin Executive Producer Jeff Hickman said when the expansion was announced. "The planet Makeb is shaping up to be one of our most breathtakingly beautiful settings and the clash with the Hutt Cartel is epic and exciting. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. We have a lot more surprises in store for our fans next year!"
In the new add-on, players will meet new allies, make new enemies and uncover cutting-edge technology on Makeb. The expansion features five new levels of story driven missions and raises the current level cap from 50 to 55.
