"Fargo" creator Noah Hawley talked about "Fargo" season 3 casting after the 2016 Emmy Awards last Sunday. He confirmed that Scoot McNairy will join the award-winning FX series although no details were offered about the role. The news comes after "BrainDead" Mary Elizabeth Winstead joins "Fargo" season 3, portraying the role of Nikki Swango.

While no details were provided regarding Scoot McNairy's role, Noah Hawley assured fans that his role will be recurring one. He joins a list of remarkable actors such as Ewan McGregor and Carrie Coon. "Gone Girl" star Carrie Coon will be taking the female lead in "Fargo" season 3. She will portray Gloria Burgie, who is described as a practical woman possessing a remarkable presence of mind. Gloria also holds the chief of the Eden Valley police.
Meanwhile, "Fargo" season 3 will see the male lead in the person of Ewan McGregor. It appears that producers are quite taken with McGregor, already casting him twice for the franchise.
