GoPro Inc. has finally introduced its latest flagship cameras, the GoPro Hero 5 Black and Session. What was once a subject of speculation and theories has actually turned out to be something true. The new cameras boast of significant upgrades of the previous iteration.
On the outside, the GoPro Hero 5 has changed its style in that it is now rubberized. This gives the action camera a more expensive and sophisticated appeal, according to Trusted Reviews. The device is considered small and can easily fit inside the pocket, but is still very useful in various situations. One of the highlights of the upgraded action camera from the company is its waterproof feature without needing a separate case. The Hero 5 can be taken to a depth of 10 meters, which means it's suitable for snorkelers and surfers who like to capture stunning water shots.
It appears that GoPro Inc. has also stayed to its promise of delivering the "most connected and convenient" action camera ever made. The voice control command makes it possible to use the device without the fuss of pushing buttons or even using cables to connect it to a laptop or PC. There is a list of commands, such as "GoPro, start recording" which should let the camera initiate video recording - there's not even a need to press buttons. Once the user decides to upload the video or photos, there is also no need for cards and cables as the GoPro Hero 5 can just upload the files via the cloud storage service.
GoPro Hero 5 Black and Session are both capable of shooting 4K video at a rate of 30 frames per second. Both variants have similar features and specs but the only difference is that the Hero 5 Black is considered the higher-end variant that features a two-inch touchscreen for easy navigation. Also, it is much bigger than Hero 5 Session.
Given the impressive specs and features of the GoPro Hero 5 action cameras, the company may have just produced their best camera yet. The new and interesting features make the cameras more appealing and it is even much easier to use compared to the previous models. The GoPro Hero 5 Session and Black will be available starting on Oct. 2. They'll be great as gifts for this holiday.
