A lot of mobile games were affected when "Pokemon Go" was released, including Supercell's "Clash Royale." The online strategy battle game seemed to have found a nemesis in the form of an augmented reality game.
The gamers were probably so excited with the idea of playing an augmented reality game that they somehow set aside the usual popular games. Of course, Supercell wasn't numb to the decreasing interest of the gamers in "Clash Royale" that they decided to lash back with a mean update.
Aside from "Clash Royale" pending updates, Supercell has also strengthened their marketing arm by releasing a slew of "Clash Royale" ads that many viewers describe as silly. However, the silliness of the "Clash Royale" ads seem to be working their charms as the mobile game climbs up once again to the top spot in mobile games.
The upcoming "Clash Royale" update will reportedly have three new battle cards with respective functions - The Ice Golem, Graveyard Spell and Inferno Dragon. The Ice Golem mainly functions by targeting buildings and has the ability to explode when totally destroyed. The Graveyard Spell stands by its spooky name as it unearths a hoard of skeletons in any arena location.
The Inferno Dragon has the ability to spew out focused fire beams that increases its hit points over time. The three newest addition in the upcoming "Clash Royale" update will surely make the game livelier and more interesting. Supercell has to brainstorm hard to ensure that they keep the attention of the gamers in check.
Aside from the new battlecards serving as the main attraction in the latest "Clash Royale" update, Supercell will reportedly be opening new tournament modes. The social features and online interaction will also be tweaked. As for the chest purchases, players can expect new classes of chests as well as a chance to encounter the rare Epic Chest.
