WWE Clash of Champions 2016 Latest News & Update: Controversial Finishes Expected [POLL]

There will be a lot of notable cards on WWE Clash of Champion happening this Sunday, headlined no less by Universal champion Kevin Owens defending against Seth Rollins. There is also the brutal encounter between US champion Rusev and Roman Reigns, both which could end in controversial fashion.

Owens vs. Rollins

Universal champion Kevin Owens and challenger Seth Rollins have so far made it this far without directly taking shots at each other. Owens has fended off various challengers, same with Rollins. To some, it may seem normal but the fact is that the rivalry seems to be absent.

In short, something is likely to happen and he goes by the name of Triple H. The WWE COO has been absent since that intrusion that led to Owens being crowned champion so it hardly comes as a surprise to see him costing “The Architect” the Universal title yet again. Owens will likely remain champion at WWE Clash of Champions.

Heel-turn again for Reigns?

And yet again, there is the belief that Roman Reigns will turn heel against another heel. For those who watched WWE SummerSlam, that almost happened though somehow it failed to flicker. Could it be better the second time around?

The match is expected to be brutal once more with the two using their brute strength on the other. But the finish is which may be interesting. Reigns could easily be crowned champion but the question is should the WWE will allow it?

Reigns continue to work on his craft and being champion may ruin that once more. The Big Dog could lose and eventually go ballistic once more. But would that be enough to merit a heel turn?

Other matches include Cesaro vs. Sheamus for the best-of-seven where the “Swiss Superman” is likely to come out the winner to complete an underdog comeback. The WWE Women’s title will be on the line though Charlotte may likely keep it with some help from Dana Brooke against Sasha Banks and Bayley.

The New Day will defend their title against the Club where the Bleacher Report believes that a title change could be good while also starting some conflict from within.

WWE Clash of Champions happens this Sunday from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis starting at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. The WWE Network will stream the event live.
