PlayStation Network Maintenance Extended Until Tomorrow Morning

** UPDATE - PSN Maintenance to Continue Into the Evening**

Originally scheduled for only 12 hours, Sony announced via Twitter that the maintenance will continue into tomorrow morning, though they haven't said until when exactly, or why. So expect to continue seeing that maintenance notification if you're still trying to sign in to PSN.

"PSN Maintenance update: Though estimated to end at 8pm PT tonight, maintenance has been extended to tomorrow AM. Updates as we get them," read the Tweet.

Announced this past Tuesday, the maintenance was planned "In order to continue bringing you the best online games experience on PSN."

As has been the case for the last 12 hours, "The PlayStation Store and Account Management will not be available" until otherwise noted. Thankfully, "during the maintenance period, but you will be able to access online play and apps provided that you have signed into PlayStation Network at some point between now and the time of the maintenance."

But worry not PlayStation pugilists, you'll all get your Black Ops fix soon enough. For now, get yourself some well needed rest. The emblems will be there in the morning.

Looking forward, once the maintenance is all said and done, fans will be able to get their hands on the following from the PSN next week.
