"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" was indeed a big hit when it premiered in 1993. It became a bonafide pop culture phenomenon that is spawned over 23 seasons and two major films in the 90's. After a decade-long hiatus, there are a lot in store for the "Power Rangers" reboot.

It will be very fresh to the eyes of fans of "Power Rangers" to see the "Power Rangers" in their new costumes. Entertainment Weekly reported that the new suits of "Power Rangers" have ditched the all-spandex look of the originals for a more tactical body armor appearance.

For the "tone" of the film, Cheat Sheet [https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/power-rangers-reboot-everything-we-know-and-dont-know.html/?a=viewall] said that the new "Power Rangers" movie will not definitely be as childish as the original 1990's television show. Rather, the "Power Rangers" movie can be expected to still be playful but more mature but still playful.

With the success of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", the actors that will portray as "Power Rangers" should not fail the fans. The actors who were brave enough to take on the challenging roles are Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler, Becky G, and Dacre Montgomery. They will play as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Zack the Black Ranger, Billy the Blue Ranger, Trini the Yellow Ranger, and Jason the Red Ranger, respectively.

The "Power Rangers" will be premiered on March 24, 2017. It is directed by Dean Israelite and written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz.

The "Power Rangers" movie is unlikely to stray past the PG-13 threshold. The two previous "Power Rangers" movies were given a PG rating and the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie is aiming for the same thing.
