The collaboration has resulted to the Instax Mini 70, Fujifilm and Michael Kors' new camera, which is the fairest of them all.
The Verge reports that the new Instax Mini 70, which is Fujifilm and Michael Kors' new collaboration that is touted as the fairest of them all, is a limited edition release this holiday. It features a 60mm lens with a flash and viewfinder, all in a gold and black body emblazoned with Michael Kors' signature on the back part of the body, and a brand logo on the front of the case.
For those who are looking to have the fairest of them all this Christmas, the Instax Mini 70 from Fujifilm and Michael Kors will be available for $149.99, together with a film pack for 10 shots. The special edition will be available at Michael Kors retail stores and the official website beginning October 20 all through the holiday season, as per Engadget. The brand will also be releasing accessories to go with the camera as well. Think studs and shiny objects.
According to the official statement from Fujifilm, the new Michael Kors Instax Mini 70 has a "special selfie mode" and a high-performance flash that is smart enough to calculate brightness and automatically adjust shutter speed. The "smart selfie mode" will automatically adjusts settings so that you, the subject, will be the fairest of them all.
"This exclusive INSTAX Mini 70 by Michael Kors is the pinnacle of style and substance," Fujifilm North America CEO Mark Yamamamoto said via the press release. "Now consumers can make a stylish statement with the combination of INSTAX and the luxury of the Michael Kors brand."
This isn't the first time the Michael Kors brand is delving into technology, as PC Mag reports that the brand also recently released a smartwatch touted as a competitor for the Apple Watch. Michael Kors' new smartwatch features Google's Android Wear operating system and can sync with both iOS and Android phones.
