Naughty Dog's "The Last of Us 2" may be keeping fans hoping on something that still is not entirely certain for now, but the rumors pertaining to the game's entirety may all be too strong to ignore. It has been over three years since the release of the original title, and many are already setting their sights on "The Last of Us 2."
Despite such disregard to the title's existence, Naughty Dog may have not kept quite a tight lid on the alleged next project. According to I Tech Post, past discussions of "The Last of Us 2" have pointed to a near conclusion that the title might be indeed in the works. One of the most popular mentions about the second title came from "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" Nathan Drake voice actor Nolan North, which he immediately clarified from any and all misinterpretation.
Furthermore, as per Christian Post, fans of the supposed "The Last of Us 2" can recall Neil Druckmann, Creative Director of Naughty Dog, said that the team is already concocting the next possible plot for the title. Despite the lack of concrete information, the claim of Druckmann has then stayed stuck on the minds of all fans.
Plot-wise, fans believe that "The Last of Us 2" will still involve both Ellie and Joel. One guess that proves so is the consistent affiliation of both Ashlie Johnson (Ellie) and Troy Baker (Joel) post the project-some however believe that it is mere coincidence.
Rumors further instilled that "The Last of Us 2" could surface by 2021, which is rather distance to call out. Keep it locked for more news on Gamenguide.
