When set photos from "Thor: Ragnarok" made its rounds on the Internet, it stirred a lot of whispers and speculations from Marvel fans. Instead of confirming a lot of things, the "Thor: Ragnarok" set photos left more questions than answers. One particular photo made Marvel fans' fantasy tingle. Could it be possible that Doctor Strange will be a part of "Thor: Ragnarok?"
As if staring at Chris Hemsworth's glorious physique is not enough, the set photos seemingly hinted that an award-winning actor may join the "Thor: Ragnarok" cast. Benedict Cumberbatch a.k.a. Doctor Strange already has a solo Marvel movie, "Doctor Strange," but that does not mean that it will only be his sole appearance in the Marvel films. Chris Hemsworth a.k.a. Thor knows how things go in Marvel Studios, as he himself have collaborated with other beloved Marvel characters in "The Avengers" franchise.
The "Thor: Ragnarok" set photos are quite fun to watch. The cast were seen looking less serious and just enjoying each other's company. Chris Hemsworth even shared an adorable photo of him and Tom Hiddleston (who plays Loki) lounging at a News Stand. The "Thor: Ragnarok" actor captioned the post, "Just Sellin papers with my mate @twhiddleston #PartTimeJob #ThorRagnarok @TaikaWaititi"
But what grabbed the attention of fans was the photo of Chris Hemsworth holding a card with the address of Doctor Strange written on it, as reported by Screen Crush. Is this a "Thor: Ragnarok" easter egg? As expected, "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi played coy when asked about the possibility of a Doctor Strange cameo.
"Ohhh I don’t know. I am not sure if… I don’t know actually," "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi told Digital Spy. "I can’t comment on it. It may have just been something for the fans." It's best to take this with a grain of salt, or perhaps just wait until fans will get to see "Thor: Ragnarok" on November 3, 2017.
