"The Young and the Restless" is getting more exciting as the narrative is slowly unfolding a major twist. Everyone is aware that Adam Newman is already dead after the cabin he was hiding in suddenly blew up. His passing left the whole Genoa City mourning and his father Victor in deep regret.
However, the earlier theories that Adam might still be alive could be true after all. This seems to be the case because as secrets are revealed, the developing story suggests that Adam was able to get out of the cabin before the explosion took place.
Now, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers point out and highlighted the fact that there is a connection between Adam and ex-cult leader Ian Ward, who appears to be the person holding the former captive. So, what could be his motive for hiding Adam? Possibly, Ian is staging a revenge against Adam's father Victor.
Moreover, "The Young and the Restless" shows that Ian is only using the explosion incident as a diversion to make the Newman clan believe that Adam is already dead. What the viewers have to watch out for, is Ian's hidden plot for causing a stir in Genoa city.
Ian is a returning villain in "The Young and the Restless" and he has a long history of clashes with Victor, thus his retaliation would add great suspense and makes it doubly interesting to see on how the future story will play out. Ian also hated Adam because he felt that he betrayed him in the past when they teamed up against Victor.
In the end, they did not succeed in bringing Victor down and instead, he was sent to jail for all the crime he committed against the Newmans. But even while he was already in jail, he has minions that continue to carry out his dark plans and this was how his supposed participation in Adam's ‘death' came to light.
Flashback to the day in "The Young and the Restless" when the cabin exploded, Chloe shot Adam with a dart and Ian's men made their move by blowing up the place after dragging Adam's limp body away from the scene. Adam is now confined in an undisclosed place and he is being held for Ian's future plan.
Meanwhile, "The Young and the Restless" just announced the coming of new head writer named Sally Sussman. She is actually one of the original writers who helped bring the drama to stardom and she will be replacing Charles Pratt Jr., Soap Central reported.
Together with the new executive producer Mal Young, Sussman will be continuing the story and they will decide on its flow. Whether the plot of "The Young and the Restless" is turning for better or worst, it is something to look forward to.
