While the "Bates Motel" Season 5 release date is yet to be announced by A&E Network, interest in the fifth and final season of series is still going strong. This is probably egged on my high profile announcements such as Rihanna joining the "Bates Motel" Season cast. For those fans still hungry for more details about the upcoming season, here are a few things one can expect.
Norman Bates Gets Weirder
The one thing that fans can reliably expect with the arrival of "Bates Motel" Season 5 air date next year is that Norman Bates' mental condition could only worsen. As previously reported by GamenGuide, the upcoming season will show Norman, played by actor Freddie Highmore, begin his downward spiral into madness.
Just how weird could Freddie Highmore's character get? Well, it might seem impossible but there is a lot more room for Norman to get even creepier. For instance, Christian Post predicts that Norman won't be exactly lonely in the coming season. Having dragged his dead mother's body back inside their house, Norma's corpse will keep him company. In fact, Norman will probably be talking to it during the entire "Bates Motel" Season 5.
Vera Fabriga Still Part Of 'Bates Motel' Season 5 Cast
Vera Fabriga will definitely be around and still part of the "Bates Motel" Season 5 cast, as previously reported by GamenGuide. But Fabriga will not have it easy by just playing dead as a corpse though. In fact, the actress dished that the next season will probably be the most demanding acting challenge for her.
Since Norma, Vera Fabriga's character, will only exist on Norman's mind, she won't be the usual Norma that people have gotten used to. When "Bates Motel" Season 5 release date arrives, fans can expect Norma to be dancing and singing. And she will be playing the piano too as that is how Norman would imagine her doing.
Norman Will Kill Again In 'Bates Motel' Season 5
The previous season ended with Norman committing a murder suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning to kill himself along with his mother. While he was resuscitated back to life, his mother Norma was not. When "Bates Motel" Season 5 air date arrives next year, Norman will strike again. This time, it would be a complete stranger, a very unlucky guest in his motel whose name is Marion Crane.
Bringing to life Marion Crane's tragic story is songwriter and singer Rihanna who is already confirmed to join the "Bates Motel" Season 5 cast. However, it now appears that Norma will have a hand in the murder as well. Or at least, that part of Norman's personality that identifies itself as his mother Norma.
With the arrival of the "Bates Motel" Season 5 air date next year, it is also predicted that Norman's "Mother" personality could get stronger. It will finally get to the point that this personality will manifest itself more readily until that fateful night comes when Rihanna's Marion Crane decides to check in at the Bates Motel.
'Bates Motel' Season 5 Air Date
For now, A&E Network has not yet officially announced a definite "Bates Motel" Season 5 release rate. However, the common consensus is that the series' fifth and final season will air sometime next year, with the more optimistic ones saying that it could come as early as March 2017. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for updates.
