A Lonely New Screenshot for Grand Theft Auto 5, Billboards Start Popping Up Across Europe

We're all begging for as much info as we can get for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5, but they're certainly taking their time in doing so.

A previously unreleased image popped up over at the Italian site Games Blog not too long ago, seen above, showing GTA V's resident sociopath Trevor in every "cool" shot from a Michael Bay movie, walking away from a car about to explode. If the gas can he's holding is any sign, the future explosion is obviously Trevor's design.

Judging from this and the last time we saw Trevor flying solo, he's obviously set to be the group's resident troublemaker.

Rockstar's also ramping up their advertising campaign for GTA 5, as billboards are starting to pop up all across Europe, like this one in Poland, seen below.

This might mean that Rockstar's getting ready to finally provide us with an official release date.

Rumors are circulating that the next GTA may hit as early as March, but such a release date is still unconfirmed.

Featuring three playable characters, a first for the series, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

Not much is known about the story, but Rockstar has confirmed there will be multiple endings, and the story will be about the same length as Red Dead Redemption, at about 25 - 30 hours. Keep in mind, that's before the massive amount of secondary things to do, so this should be a monster of a game.

Until they say otherwise, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V will release worldwide in the Spring of 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release hasn't been announced, though a petition is making the rounds on the internet to have the title brought to the platform. Likewise, there's similarly been no word on a release for the Wii U.
