DmC: Devil May Cry's CG Trailer (Watch it Here!)

If you've been to the movies lately, there's a chance you've seen the latest CG trailer for DmC: Devil May Cry. But if you prefer to watch your movies at home, without risk of a screaming infant or someone using their cell phone like a flashlight, you can check out the same trailer below.

I do like the homage to past (wait this is a reboot, so, future?) Devil May Cry games when Dante can be seen with the bright red coat and trademark white hair when he shifts using the Devil Trigger.

A reboot, DmC: Devil May Cry is set in a parallel universe from the original Devil May Cry series. Set in Limbo City, a younger, non-silver haired Dante comes across "The Order," is a shadowy organization led by Dante's brother Vergil that has been fighting against Limbo's demons. During the events of the game, Dante learns of his true heritage, that of half-angel and half-demon, and is frequently taunted and stalked by the demon Mundus, the antagonisnt of the first Devil May Cry title.

Capcom recently announced DLC for the new game, titled Vergil's Downfall, which returns Dante's brother Vergil to the story. According to a press release from Capcom, "Vergil's Downfall offers fans the opportunity to play as one of the most wanted Devil May Cry characters, Vergil, in an all new storyline with fresh gameplay including new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations." Capcom recently announced that any DLC released for the game will not be on disc DLC.

Further more, they're also trying to find a balance between retaining hardcore fans who are hesitant of a reboot and Dante's new style and appearance, and fans who may be a bit intimidated to try the game due to the difficulty of recent games.

DmC: Devil May Cry
is set to arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Jan. 15, in North America and Europe, followed by a PC release shortly thereafter.
