'Justice League' Release Date, News & Updates: Batman Is Getting A New Tactical Suit And It's Awesome

"Justice League" is reportedly almost done filming Batman, according to director Zack Snyder. Batman will feature a new tactical suit which looks quite amazing and features several new tricks and abilities.

IGN reported that Snyder showed the new Tactical Batsuit online, which has several armored plating, giving it an overall rugged appearance. Batman was standing beside the Batmobile, most likely working on some machines, as evidenced by sparks flying in the background. In the upcoming "Justice League," he was also wearing dark goggles and a cape, although it is still uncertain whether the eyewear is part of the new outfit, or only for the engineering project he was on. Snyder tweeted that the scene was part of the homestretch in "Justice League," and it was their final day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit.

Another IGN report stated that previously, news about Batman's upcoming Tactical Batsuit circulated, hinting that there were more enhancements on the right arm. Bruce Wayne, who is in his 40s in the upcoming film, may need the arm technology to make up for an old injury he sustained. The Tactical Batsuit in "Justice League" is allegedly linked with Bat-vehicles, with the gold-tinted goggles also involved in the piloting of the machines. Batman's costume in "Justice League" will look very much the same as in "Batman vs. Superman," but will undergo changes as the plot progresses, according to "Justice League" costume designer Michael Wilkinson.

Forbes noted that the new Tactical Batsuit may confirm the appearance of the villain Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) in "Justice League." Ben Affleck, who will still play Batman, teased the character's appearance in a video. Deathstroke was slated to play the antagonist in the next solo Batman film, although it is possible that he may also surface in "Justice League."

The backgrounds of the recently revealed image of Batman in his Tactical Batsuit, and Deathstroke, are quite similar, which can mean that the latter may have a part in "Justice League." The cowl of the Tactical Batsuit has also changed, with some fans noticing that it has similarities to Nite Owl's headpiece in "Watchmen." There were more lines, particularly between the eyes, which gives Batman a sharper and angrier appearance. "Justice League" launches on Nov. 16, 2017.
