If you haven't updated (bought the new yearly installment) your EA library in the last two years, you're about to find yourself S.O.L in the new year. EA is officially retiring the online play of some of its older games to focus on the new.
While EA claims the playership numbers are relatively small, "fewer than 1% of all peak online players across all EA titles," it's still a shame to see them go. "We would rather our hard-working engineering and IT staff focus on keeping a positive experience for the other 99% of customers playing our more popular games," said EA in a post warning fans of the waning support.
You can see the list below of titles that will have their service axed, when it'll happen, and on what systems.
