"Pokemon Go" has finally added the Buddy System update as Niantic has promised. Despite the popularity of the said idea, not many are considering the idea too worthwhile to count-especially those who have already given up on the said application.
Niantic reportedly lost quite a massive amount of users in the past month. With that, fans can finalize that "Pokemon Go" may not be going anywhere, until the Buddy System was finally disclosed.
For those unaware, the "Pokemon Go" Buddy System permits a Trainer to have one Pokemon out of their respective PokeBall and trek with them for a certain distance. Doing so will result in the production of candies which are considered important in the evolution of Pokemon.
According to Forbes, the drive to walk with a Pokemon in "Pokemon Go" could potentially bring players back to the title, however, the difference in candy production could be quite the drag. Some Pokemon may take much longer walks than others only for a single piece which generalizes the fact that Niantic could be cheap when it comes to giving out the sweets.
A circulating rumor, however, speaks of "Pokemon Go" finally having a battle feature, Attack of the Fan Boy reports. Fair enough, Niantic CEO John Hanke said that it was an idea that has been thought of but is still an uncertainty for now.
The same principle may can be called for a trading system in "Pokemon Go." Since battling and trading Pokemon are core features in the past for almost all platforms of the franchise, the title's future could hold more than just searching and evolving creatures-which will presumably keep the users of the app intact.
