Visceral Games and Dead Space 3's Isaac Clarke's Wish Happy Holidays From Tau Volantis

Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a fresh new snow, and a hug from a cuddly Necromorph. Dead Space 3's new setting on the icey planet of Tau Volantis have both in spades, so, using that to their advantage, the team behind Isaac Clarke's new adventure threw together a quick clip, sending fans their best. Check it out below!

They do say holidays are a time to be spent with your loved ones, and with this marking Isaac's third adventure with deep space dwelling zombie monsters, they're basically just an extended family, right?

Visceral Games recently announced that the Xbox 360 version will feature Kinect voice controls that should "make it easier for co-op partners to give each other health or ammo, find objectives, revive one another and more." They also made a blog post about how dementia will affect Clarke and newcomer John Carver, sometimes even sharing hallucinations.

Dead Space 3 sees players embark on a thrilling ride through space that takes them to a hostile new planet, Tau Volantis. Fortunately, they are not alone this time around. The fully integrated drop-in/drop-out co-op feature gives players the option to play alone or team-up with a friend anytime. Players that choose to take down the terror together will experience additional story details, side missions and gameplay mechanics only found when playing as John Carver. You can watch a trailer showing off the new co-op mode here.

Special weapons have been announced depending on where you pre-order your game from, and EA has also announced a Limited Edition of Dead Space 3, which offers two bonus suits, as well as two bonus weapons, different than those announced for pre-orders.

Dead Space 3 will be available in the States for Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on Feb. 5, and in Europe Feb. 8.
