In a report by Inquisitr, even if the theme for "American Horror Story" season 6 is kept a secret, there are some things that may give fans a hint on what this season will entail. It seems that the biggest hint so far are the photos released online of the lost colony of Roanoke.
The set which is seen online is of a 16th-century farm and the cast members are dressed in Colonial clothes. Aside from the clothes and the era of the set, a tree which has 'Croaton' carved on it has been the biggest hint from "American Horror Story" Season 6.
The show already featured Roanoke in it during the first season. It can be recalled that Billie Dean Howard (Sarah Paulson) spoke of a Native American chief used a curse to vanish the ghosts of the Roanoke settlers. He used the word 'Croatoan' to seal the spell from those he cursed. In the same season, Violet (Taissa Farmiga) used the spell on Chad (Zachary Quinto) but it did not work.
