The first DLC for Angry Birds Trilogy, The Anger Management Pack, is now available to download on PlayStation 3.
The new content brings in 130 more levels seen in the original Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons episodes like Birdday Party, Ham 'O' Ween, Wreck the Halls, Year of the Dragon, Cherry Blossom, and others. It also features full PlayStation Move support, as well as cutscenes, trophies, and a brand new orange bird.
As described by the PlayStation Blog, "Don't judge this small bird by its feathers, because Orange Bird packs a walloping surprise. His special power lets him rapidly expand up to a massive size, shoving aside nearby enemies and obstacles!"
Check out a trailer below to see the levels, and the new bird in action!
You can grab the DLC for $4.99, or wait until Jan. 8 to grab the full version of Angry Birds Trilogy.
Angry Birds: Star Wars was also recently brought over to Facebook.
Since it's release by RovioMobile in 2009, the original Angry Birds and all its additions have reached (cumulatively) over one billion downloads. Angry Birds has since branched out onto virtually everything with a screen, be it home consoles, PC's, e-readers, and so on, with new episodes and spin-offs, and now, even plush toys and a clothing line.
It even has its own line of snacks, and the Angry Birds soft drink has managed to overtake both Coca-Cola and Pepsi in Rovio's homeland of Finland in terms of sales.
With this latest Star Wars tie-in serving to further the Rovio empire, the company is showing no signs of slowing down. Rovio has said it plans for Angry Birds to be "much bigger than Disney." Future plans even include a theme park, debit card, and more.
