Medal of Honor Warfighter: The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack Is Now Available (Watch New Trailer Here)

The Zero Dark Thirty map for EA's Medal of Honor: Warfighter is now out for Origin, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

The new DLC features maps and content that is based on Sony Picture's upcoming film "Zero Dark Thirty,' which follows the hunt for Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The film is from the Oscar-winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal. Bigelow directed "The Hurt Locker, " another military action thriller that won the Academy Award for Best Picture and five other Oscars in 2009.

The map pack comes with two multiplayer maps that are set in Pakistan. The DLC included maps are the Darra Gun Market, Pakistan's flourishing arms bazaar, and Chitral Compound, a location in the far north of Pakistan. The add-on also features weapon attachments and paint options inspired by equipment used by the SEALs on their raids.

The Map pack is free for owners of the Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition and for gamer who pre-ordered the PC Digital Deluxe version. For everybody else the map pack cost $9.99 on Origin and PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.

EA will donate a minimum of $1 million worth of proceeds from the pack to Project Honor, a program that makes charitable donations to nonprofit veteran organizations.

Here are details about the Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack from EA:

* The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack is available at no extra cost with the Limited or Deluxe Editions
