"NBA 2K17" is set to launch soon with Paul George on the cover. A new trailer, titled "Time to Assemble," was recently shown, showing some of the league's superstars and the upcoming features in "NBA 2K17." Players can expect more realism on and off the court in the new version.
Kicks on Fire noted that in the "NBA 2K17" Time to Assemble video, which lasted two and a half minutes, Nike athletes Paul George, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, among others were shown getting ready for the 2016-2017 NBA season. At the start of the trailer, George was showing off his smooth moves with a tai chi master. He immediately called Kevin Durant, who was having breakfast in a bathtub. They also got in touch with Kyrie, who was playing tennis, while Draymond Green upped the level of the ball thrower.
Andrew Drummond, Jimmy Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns soon followed, after they deemed that it was time to assemble. The six players headed towards Kevin Durant, who was already inside the NBA 2K Headquarters. A holographic image of Mike Krzyzewski also appeared in the facility, prompting players to have their stats taken for accurate output in "NBA 2K17." The next scenes showed the NBA stars in their rendered versions in the game. The major add-ons to the "NBA 2K17" Transactions Segment include offseason trading and draft pick protection.
iTechPost reported that there are four upcoming features in "NBA 2K17" which are included in MyLeague and MyGM. "NBA 2K17" will include advanced rotations, dynamic rule and regulation adjustments, team rivals and new rules and transactions. In "NBA 2K17," players can change details like increasing the salary cap and reducing the shot clock in draft lotteries. The rivalry levels of each team will also be improved, adding more intensity to the game.
The "NBA 2K17" trailer also invited gamers to start the Career Mode early by downloading the Prelude version of the game. Downloading is free and those who preorder will get early access on Sept. 16, 2016, four days ahead of the official release date on September 20.
