"Pokémon Go" is getting its new update soon and this was confirmed by the Niantic Labs team. The upcoming patch notes is called the 0.37.0 update for Android and 1.7.0 for iOS platforms. This latest update will deliver features, fixes and improvements that trainers have been waiting for.
Moreover, Niantic Labs continues to exert efforts in making the game experience better for all players, and on Sept. 11, via "Pokemon Go" Facebook page, they enumerated some of the key points and features that they will introduce in the new patch and these include:
The Buddy System
This can be considered as the biggest addition to the game since it was introduced back in July. With this feature, players can choose any Pokemon to be their buddy and simply walking with them, while hunting for monsters, can already help in earning some candies.
Fixes on Issues
One of the complaints from trainers involves hatching eggs. They said that sometimes, the game does not display (on screen) when the eggs are hatching. This will be fixed once the update is downloaded.
Performance and Game Support
The glitch where the "Pokemon Go" app freezes or ceased updating when players change networks has been addressed. An improved performance reliability is to be expected on top of minor fixes.
Pokemon Go Plus
The new patch will also offer support for the game accessory called the "Pokemon Go" Plus which will be released on Sept. 16. Others were speculating that support for Android smart watch will also be available and players can use this in the same way as Pokemon Go Plus.
Finally, Niantic Labs relayed that trainers can download the new patch notes through the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store only. As for the Pokemon Go Plus gadget, players can get it for $34.99.
