The Sony PS4 Neo and PS4 Slim are out but no sign of “Red Dead Redemption 2”. Hence the wait continues on when John Marston will return.
As mentioned in a separate post, “Red Dead Redemption 2” rumors rose once again thanks to some fake posters. It turns out that these were nothing more than a fan project but eventually raised expectations were quashed.
Recall that CEO Strauss Zelnick may have sparked a bit of hope as well when he revealed the company was working on two big projects. The only problem with that call was that he did not dive into specifics and most tied it up with a possible coming of “Red Dead Redemption 2”.
Making sense for it to come out alongside the PS4 Neo or PS4 Slim was a bundled offer. Considering however that game development information is scarce, it was a pretty long shot, to begin with.
Map talk
So with the wait on a release date for “Red Dead Redemption 2” once again botched, we go to other suggested rumors tied up with the game. The latest is now about the setting and the maps the game could come with.
According to Games Radar, map leaks pointing to a possible area called “Heartland Oil Fields” could suggest an entirely new map and setting, a dish at the modern day outlaw setting. The same old map could be used though new locations could be perked up to offer new adventures to players. Some even suggest a possible zombie-themed storyline though all that is nothing more than hearsay.
Right now, everything is talk and nothing definite has been shared by Rockstar concerning “Red Dead Redemption 2”. If the game does come out by the Fall of 2017, more credible information should start pouring in by this time next year.
