The revival of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" is widely anticipated by fans on Netflix. It has been nine years since we saw the tandem of Rory and Lorelai. What are they up to now?
It is fortunate that Entertainment Weekly got a leak of the first page of the script of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life." Rory, of course, is now an adult who is going to Stars Hollow. The script goes on to the conversation of mom and daughter. Lorelai was surprise to see her daughter looking pristine even after seven hours of travel. Rory was in turn asking her mom, if that was how she says hello.
Moreover, a photo released in Twitter by ET suggests that "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" will deal with the life of Richard Gilmore, portrayed by Edward Herrmann who died of brain cancer in 2014. The photo showed Lorelai, Rory and Emily, Richard's wife, in the cemetery holding a bunch of flowers.
Lauren Graham, one of the producers of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life," revealed that what is in store for the viewers is "deeply satisfying." She herself was nervous when she first received the script, but as she was reading it, she realized that it was just "perfect."
Alexis Bledel, who plays the role of Rory in "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life," was not very curious who she ended up with. Whether it Dean, Jess or Logan? For her, the more important issue was Rory's accomplishment in her career being the hard-working and ambitious person that she is. As we know, the Gilmore girls were always self-sufficient. A romantic relationship was good for either of them, but they also get along fine even without one.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" will hit Netflix on Nov 25 with the "Winter" as the title of the first episode. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life" news and update!
