The game size is said to be 35 GB but some players had troubles downloading the game into their drives. Fortunately, updating the operating system to the Microsoft's Anniversary Update is suggested to fix the issue.
In order to download the "Halo 5 Forge" PC version succesfully, players may be required to download the Microsoft's Anniversary Update. Some players claimed that the download link is initially shaded out because it will prompt the players to update their system first. This is due to the fact that the Microsoft Anniversary Update contains files that support the said game, Ars Technica reported.
Some fans reported that they were surprised that the size of the "Halo 5 Forge" PC version is 35 GB which took more space than the original game took on the Xbox One. However, some players confirmed that Microsoft did not compromise the game contents as the entire multiplayer game is still intact in the PC version.
The "Halo 5 Forge" PC version release was on Sept. 8, Thursday. Players are expected to be able to access the game based on its availability in their regions. For players who are not able to download the game, it is reportedly suggested that they change the time, date and region on their PC in order to download it. The same technique may be applied if players saw that the game is locked, Gamespot reported.

It is then expected that the company may add a server browser in the future in order to to deliver the game's full multiplayer experience.
