There are over 200 Xbox One games currently available in the backwards compatibility program as of September 2016. According to Microsoft, hundreds more will be coming in the future.
GameSpot reported that the available Xbox One backwards compatibility games at present include "A Kingdom for Keflings," "A World of Keflings," "Aegis Wing, "Age of Booty, "Alan Wake" and "Alan Wake's American Nightmare." Also on the list are "Alien Hominid HD," "Altered Beast," "Anomaly Warzone Earth," "Assassin's Creed," "Assassin's Creed II," "Asteroids & Deluxe" and "Aqua." Players can also enjoy "Babel Rising," "Banjo Kazooie: Nuts n Bolts," "Banjo Tooie," "Banjo Kazooie," BattleBlock Theater," "Bejeweled 2," "Bellator: MMA Onslaught" and "Beyond Good & Evil HD." Same with "Bionic Commando Rearmed 2," "Bloodforge," "Blood Knights," "Blood of the Werewolf," "BloodRayne: Betrayal," "Bomberman Live: Battlefest," "Boom Boom Rocket," "Borderlands," "Braid" and "Brain Challenge."
Other notable titles include "Call of Duty 2," "Call of Duty: Black Ops," "Call of Juarez Gunslinger," "Castle Storm," "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night," "Comic Jumper," "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive," "Crazy Taxi" and Crystal Defenders." Other titles to try include "Dark Souls," "Dead Space," "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," "Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut," "Dirt 3" and "Discs of Tron." "Doom," "Doom II," "Doom 3: BFG Edition," "DuckTales Remastered," "Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project," "Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara" and "Dungeon Siege III" are also on the list. Xbox One gamers can also play "Earthworm Jim HD," "Fallout 3," "Fallout: New Vegas," "Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon," "Forza Horizon" and "Galaga." Add in "Gears of War," "Gears of War 2," "Gears of War 3," "Gears of War: Judgment," "Grid 2,"" Halo: Reach," "Halo: Spartan Assault," "Halo Wars" and "Hexic."
More titles include "Ikaruga," "Joust," "The King of Fighters '98," "Left 4 Dead" and "Left 4 Dead 2." "Lego Batman," "Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game," "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" and "Magic the Gathering 2012" join in. The Xbox One backwards compatibility program also features "Mass Effect," "Metal Slug 3," "NBA Jam: On Fire Edition," "Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising," "Pac-Man," "Plants vs. Zombies," "Red Dead Redemption" and "Sam & Max Save the World." Also included are "Sonic" titles, the Sega Vintage Collection, "Soulcalibur," "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed," "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas" and "Tron: Evolution." "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings," "Wolfenstein 3D" and "Zuma" are also included.
