"Pokemon Sun & Moon" is currently in development and set to release soon. A new "Pokemon Sun & Moon" trailer was released, showing several new features like the Poke Finder, Ultra Beasts and new Alola Pokemon.
The Poke Finder in "Pokemon Sun & Moon" is a new mode that lets players take photos of wild Pokemon lurking in particularly places around Alola. "Pokemon Sun & Moon" players can share the photos to have these rated. The Poke Finder will have a number of features unlocked, depending on how well the shots are rated. IGN reported that based on the video, "Pokemon Sun & Moon" are set 12 hours apart. "Pokemon Sun" will feature the same 24-hour schedule as the internal clock of the Nintendo 3DS.
However, "Pokemon Moon," will be set 12 hours ahead. The Pokemon in the two titles will also differ, such as "Pokemon Sun" having Gumshoo, and "Pokemon Moon" featuring the new Alolan Raticate. Other new creatures in "Pokemon Sun & Moon" include the Null type, which is a synthetic monster, and the dragon-type PokemonJangmo-o. "Pokemon Sun & Moon" will also showcase Ultra Beasts, a new kind of creature that may not be Pokemon at all. The first spotted was UB-01, a glass-like creature that looked like a jellyfish, although it moves like a young girl.
A new faction in "Pokemon Sun & Moon," called the Aether Foundation, are particularly interested in Ultra Beasts. The faction is located on a manmade island just off the Alolan archipelago. The faction may also be working against Team Skull, the enemies in the upcoming game. International Business Times stated that the Alolan Raticate in "Pokemon Sun & Moon," which is Rattata's evolved version, is bigger than its regular counterpart and features an aggressive grimace. As for the Ultra Beasts, these are said to have great powers and a threat to Pokemon and humans. UB-01 is rumored to be Professor Kukui's mysterious assistant, named Lillie.
In the meantime, "Pokemon Sun & Moon" will reportedly include a running quest where players need to gather Zygarde's Cells and Cores, to transform the Legendary Pokemon into its Complete version. "Pokemon Sun & Moon" will launch on Nov. 18, 2016 on Nintendo 3DS.
