"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for the Sept. 7-9 episode is here. The Genoa City is in grief as the residents mourn the death of Adam Newman following the blast that totally tore down the cabin where he was hiding in.
In the upcoming episode of "The Young and the Restless," Nick Newman is taking charge of his half-brother's wake and burial as friends and family bid Adam farewell. Everyone is still in shock with the sudden and tragic passing of Adam but Chelsea appears to be the most affected for losing her partner.
Victor Newman was also devastated and visibly having a hard time dealing with his son's death, which somehow resulted from his own reckless act. Although, he was previously shown very determined to frame his son for murder, he could not believe that this plan would lead to Adam's death.
Nevertheless, folks at "The Young and the Restless" Genoa City will have to move on and Nick will stay strong so that they can surpass the tragedy that struck their family. But of course, everyone will continue to talk about what happened to Adam and the conversations would be intense.
In another scene, when Chloe visited Victor, the patriarch of the Newman clan directly expressed his suspicion that she might have have a hand in the cabin incident which killed Adam. Chloe will deny the accusation and tells Victor that she was not even anywhere near the cabin so she cannot be involved.
"The Young and the Restless" story thickens when Chloe told Victor that Adam may still be alive after all. This further enraged the older Newman as Chloe was obviously taunting him. In response to the heated conversation, Victor warned Chloe that once he determined that she was the culprit in the blast, things are going to get bad for her.
For Chelsea, she thinks that Victor himself was behind Adam's killing but Nick is confident the his father did not do it. On the other hand, as the police continue their hunt for Adam's killer, the names of Billy and Phyllis showed up in the list of suspects.
Meanwhile, it appears that Adam is really dead and one reason why this character was terminated from "The Young and the Restless" is that the actor portraying the role is leaving the show for another drama.
Justin Hartley who has been playing as Adam Newman in "The Young and the Restless" confirmed his departure from the show through his Facebook page. "After many weeks of having to keep quiet in order not to spoil storylines for all of you, the time has finally come that I'm able to write you this letter," he wrote.
Hartley further said he is leaving the show but fans can look forward to his new character in NBC's "This Is Us" which will premiere on Sept. 20. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more "The Young and the Restless" news.
