So much has changed since "The Flash" ended its second season back in May. Grant Gustin's Barry Allen used his powers to travel back in time to save his mother from Reverse Flash A.K.A. Eobard Thawne. Thereby creating a whole new alternate universe where the characters viewers have grown to love aren't what they seem.
One of those characters that have appealed to audiences is Carlos Valdes' Cisco Ramon, who always brought the laughs and the technological know-how to aid Barry the superhero in his pursuits. But will Cisco Ramon turn into a villain in "The Flash" season 3?
Collider reports that Valdes was on hand during last weekend's Dragon Con in Atlanta, where he opened up a little bit about where his character is heading in "The Flash" season 3. The 27-year old Colombian actor admitted that Cisco isn't quite the same, but his skill, his know-how, and his ingenuity is definitely still there. The difference? Flashpoint Cisco is one hell of a Tony Stark-type billionaire.
Valdes shared that in the Flashpoint storyline of "The Flash" season 3, viewers will find that because of Cisco's "technological prowess," he is able to build and create groundbreaking technology and thereby reap in the rewards of his hard work. He has created Ramon Industries, which is likened to S.T.A.R. Labs, or if you're a Marvel fan, Stark Industries.
Cinema Blend reports that as per Valdes, this new Cisco who will appear in "The Flash" season 3 will be a little bit more "ostentatious, not afraid to flaunt his wealth which makes for interesting colors and relationship dynamics." It would make sense that he would remind us a little bit of Tony Stark himself. The actor even admitted that there is a little bit of "antagonistic energy" about this new character. Does this mean that Cisco Ramon will turn into a villain in the upcoming season?
