"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" just got its new DLC 4 and this will be the game's last update as confirmed by Treyarch. The Salvation new downloadable content will be available for players on Playstation 4 starting today.
On Sept. 6, via press release, Treyarch stated that players will get four new maps as well as the final episode of Origins' zombies mode. The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 4 called Salvation will also allow teams in multiplayer mode to fight together on a giant table in the Micro map.
"The team at Treyarch has worked tirelessly to make this an incredible year for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 players and we hope fans have as much fun playing it as we had making it," Treyarch's studio head, Mark Lamia, was quoted as saying in the PR. Further, as mentioned in the press release, the Zombies chapter entitled "Revelations" is a special part of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC so it occupies a big space in the content which also features four new maps namely:
Citadel: this ancient castle was a former home of medieval army. Now abandoned, it is a site for close battle encounters due to the limited space. Micro: this is a minuscule war zone where players battle it out on top of a giant, well-stocked picnic table. This will give players a larger-than-life experience in the battlefield. Outlaw: this is a medium-scale map featuring re-imagined western style showdown of the outlaws which was originally from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." This will engage players in classic combat engagements.
Rupture: this offers a world at war classic gameplay. The high-tech facility has been designed by the civilization in a dire bid to fix and mend the Earth's atmosphere.
Meanwhile, for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players who do not have season pass, the DLC is available for $14.99 at Playstation Store. The Salvation DLC is only applicable to PS4 for now but it will also be released to Xbox One and PC on October. Check out the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" new maps below:
