Square Enix is apparently abuzz with cross-marketing lately. We heard about the Adam Jensen styled DLC before, but now IO has offered up a whole trailer. Check it out below!
That's a lot of effort for just a DLC costume, but the effort is appreciated.
Seemingly trying to remind gamers that the company made a game called Deus Ex: The Human Revolution once upon a time, Square Enix is offering up DLC so players can dress up the barcoded Agent 47 in some Adam Jensen styled duds.
The Revolution outfit sees 47 trading up his own standard suit in Jensen's trademark black armor complete with mechanical shades. Though it makes 47 look like a raccoon more than anything, the outfit promises to offer "better protection from firearms with advance armor." Though if you're a true silent assassin, you needn't ever worry about gunfire.
In addition to the armor / suit, players who download the DLC also get the Deus Ex Zenith gun, a "10mm polymer framed semi-automatic modular pistol developed by Steiner-Bisley. It is fully ambidextrous, ergonomic, and carries a sound suppressor."
Both the outfit and the gun are only available when competing in Contracts Mode.
The 'Deus Ex Suit' and 'Deus Ex Zenith Gun' add-ons are available at a cost of 80 Microsoft Points each from the Xbox Live Marketplace, or at $1.00 each on the PlayStation Network and Windows PC platforms.
