Specializations from Halo 4's Limited Edition Now Available to Players

When specializations were first introduced to the world of Halo 4's multiplayer mode, only two were available right off the bat - Operator and Wetwork. Gamers who bought Halo 4's Limited Edition however, received all eight right away. Now, all those specializations are available to everyone else. Almost.

According to Kotaku, players who played Halo 4's multiplayer mode received e-mails containing download codes for the DLC package "Specialization Priority Alpha," which unlocks all specializations.

A Microsoft spokesperson has confirmed that anyone who played Halo 4 multiplayer on or before Nov. 20, who also has an Xbox Live account, will receive a Specialization code via email. The offer extends to players in countries including the United States, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, and India.

Besides Wetwork and Operator, the Specializations available now Pioneer, Egineer, Tracker, Rogue, Stalker, and Pathfiner, with more specializations still to be released. When leveled up, each Specialization offers their own sets of unlockables, such as armor, mods, and weapon skins.

Halo 4 had earned $220 million in the first day of its release. It was also revealed that 31.4 million hours of game were played by players globally in the first five days of its launch.
