Xbox One Gamerscore Leaderboard Menu: What’s New & How It Works? More Details Revealed!

Xbox One Gamerscore leaderboard has a new feature that lets you see your score in comparison with other players. Head of engineering department, Mike Ybarra, teased his followers with a sneak peek in his Twitter of what the menu will look like after an upcoming update. Xbox team is currently focused on unifying the Xbox Store by bringing more UWP apps.

The new Xbox One Gamerscore leaderboard allows you to see your achievements over a period of time. On the upper left side of the page, a drop down is seen for a specific month you want to check.  What is not confirmed is the "compare games" option, according to Game Spot. The option could be there but might not just be captured in the screen shot of Ybarra's tweet.

The current Xbox One Gamerscore leaderboard is fine as it is but it looks more busy with figures and information compared to the new one. However, as the new version has not been finalized, we do not know what else will be added in the page.

Microsoft has not yet announced when the update for the Xbox One Gamerscore leaderboard will be released. This latest happening is just one of the features the company has been busy lately. Winbeta reported that Xbox One system software has lots of iterates lately, especially for Xbox One Preview program members. Other updates include Cortana and some background music. Social features that we can expect soon are LFG, Clubs and Arena, according to Windows Central.

As mentioned, the new Xbox One Gamerscore leaderboard allows player to check their scores for a specific period. Ybarra's team was hoping that this will encourage players to check their status more frequently. And as they do so, they will find more time to play their favorite games and even compete with other players on Xbox Live.
